I’m Anna, marketing and branding professional living in sunny (seriously) Edinburgh, Scotland. Following a 16 year long stint in London (14 years spent on building my career in marketing and branding after 2 very unsuccessful years in hospitality) I’ve moved up to Scotland so I can have a better work-life balance and be closer to the sea and mountains, my two greatest loves.

During my time in London, I worked in. marketing for a variety of industries including hospitality, recruitment, IT, research, technology and SaaS. I wanted to work in marketing roles for as many industries as possible to have greater overview on how marketing principles work across different industries. I loved the variety and I enjoyed learning about different industries - it has kept marketing fresh exciting for me for a long time.

I’ve worked through the ranks and although I am more than capable of doing hands-on tasks from SEO through digital marketing and lead generation, I have now got a new set of skills and traits in my toolbox - building and managing a great team.

I lead with empathy and I strive to create an environment in which my team feel supported and safe to fail. I drive to see the potential in everyone I hire and help them build the career they can excel in.
